Digital Twin Driven Requirement Conversion in Smart Customized Design

Requirement conversion (RC) is an important activity in product customized design. Nowadays, the RC process mostly driven by designers’ knowledge, model passive to dynamic customer requirements, and behavior a black box customers. Digital twin (DT) characterized as self-reinforcing mechanism mirroring between physical virtual spaces, which powerful addressing these challenges for RC. This paper proposes digital requirement (DTRC) architecture tri-model-based approach integrated model, evolution DTRC development. Firstly, based on artificial neural network can simulate data compensate absence of real-world data. Then, virtual-reality integration data, mirrors visualizes real world decision tree. Finally, genetic algorithm optimizes rules via throughout whole life cycle. A case study elevator design further conducted validate feasibility effectiveness proposed approach. Experimental results show that outperforms other approaches terms accuracy. Meanwhile, visualize optimize path through tree topology, beneficial participation proactive environment.
